What to Expect...
NEW LIFE RELAUNCH - WHAT TO EXPECT
Our building opens for one morning worship experience this Sunday, June 7 at 10:00am.
WHAT IS NEW LIFE DOING TO ENCOURAGE SOCIAL DISTANCING?
We are striving to provide an absolutely clean and sanitary building for you and your family’s worship experience. From clean restrooms to larger isles in the sanctuary, we are doing all that we can. Here’s some things you can expect:
Before arriving we ask that if you feel ill or think you may have a temperature, please stay home.
Masks and gloves will be made available to anyone who wants them. But we encourage you bring your own mask if you feel you need one.
The chairs, rows and aisles in our sanctuary have been adjusted to provide more space, not just for social distancing, but also for more room to worship in your row, bow in prayer and enjoy the presence of Jesus.
If we need extra space to spread out due to the number of attendees, there will be chairs set up in the basement as an overflow space to accommodate social distancing.
New Life Kids will be a part of the main 10:00AM worship experience in the sanctuary. The message has been designed with families in mind. Children will need to sit with their parents.
Soap and water is available in the bathrooms, and hand sanitizer is available throughout the building both in the lobby, back of the sanctuary, and altar areas.
WILL THE SERVICE STILL BE ONLINE THROUGH FACEBOOK AND YOUTUBE?
Yes. Our online live stream service will not stop but continue every Sunday for those still feeling the need to stay home. We love you and look forward to seeing when the time is right.
Again, If you don’t feel well on Sunday, please stay home and enjoy the service through our Facebook and YouTube online platforms. Please note that we will only be premier broadcasting at 10:00AM at this time. With questions about this, please contact the church office at [email protected] and one of our leadership team members will get back to you.
WHERE DO I GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
Please arrive as early as possible.
When you arrive, you may enter through the Main upstairs entrance. One door will be labeled “Enter” and one door will be labeled “Exit.” Please use the doors accordingly. You will be greeted and cared for by our great volunteers and leaders.
Those greeting will respect your desire for social distancing. Mask wearing is welcome but not required.
Green and red stickers will be available in the lobby to help everyone identify your comfort zone. If you want social distancing please put on a red sticker. If you are comfortable with no social distancing please put on a green sticker to help everyone know where your comfort level is without have to say a word.
WHAT CAN WE EXPECT WITH THE IN-PERSON SERVICES?
You can expect a powerful time of worship in God’s presence, life-changing preaching, and altar ministry.
New Life Kids ministry is integrated into the message.
The nursery spaces will be available but not staffed, with one room per family, should they be needed. We have three nursery spaces available. We are doing this to make the rooms easier to disinfect following the worship experience.
The coffee area will have a few chairs set up should that accomodation be a better fit for you and your little ones to view through the one way glass.
WILL THERE BE A TIME TO BRING MY TITHES & OFFERINGS?
Yes, you will be able to leave your contribution in the receptacle at the back of the sanctuary or you may give online at www.newlifebn.org/give. You may also mail in your offering: 9754 E 1400 North Rd., Bloomington, IL 61705.
WHAT IF I NEED TO USE THE RESTROOM?
Our restrooms will be sanitized and clean for your use. There will be Lysol available in every stall for individuals to disinfect after each use to help provide a continued clean space for everyone.
WHAT ABOUT WATER OR COFFEE?
We will not be able to open the coffee bar at this time. However, bottled water will be made available in the lobby.
WILL THERE BE SOMETHING FOR KIDS DURING THIS SERVICE?
Children need to remain with parents for the duration of the service. The message has been designed with our little ones in mind.
CAN I RECEIVE PRAYER AT THE END OF THE SERVICE?
Absolutely! We’re here to serve you. At the end of the service, Lead Pastors, James and Shelley Haffener, along with our leadership team, will provide time for anyone wanting to receive Christ as Lord and Savior. If you need prayer for anything, from one of our leaders or prayer partners, you are welcome to come to the altar to receive prayer. In order to accommodate your relative comfort level, some of our prayer team will have masks and practice social distancing, and those without a mask are available to pray with you as well. Please feel free to pray with who you are comfortable with.
