I am excited that you have chosen to participate in Feasting by Fasting by setting aside 21 days to pray, fast and draw near to God. Fasting is not just an exercise for super-spiritual people. It is actually supposed to a part of every believer's spiritual life. Personally, I have found there is no better way to reset my spiritual compass and bring about change and discipline in every area of my life than through fasting.
Matthew 17:5b, 8 NLT
5 “This is My dearly loved Son, who brings Me great joy, Listen to Him”.... 8 And when they looked up, Moses and Elijah were gone, and they saw only Jesus.
Thanksgiving comes every year, like clockwork. Summer evaporates into fall. The breeze turns cool, then cold. Leaves start to die and fall off of the trees. Let the raking begin!! And winter, well, it’s around the corner. In the midst of all these changes comes Thanksgiving.
Oh, sing to the Lord a new song! Sing to the Lord, all the earth. Sing to the Lord, bless His name; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. Declare His glory among the nations, His wonders among all peoples. For the Lord is great and greatly to be praised… Psalm 96:1-4 and 1 Chronicles 16:25-25 NKJV
